Unraveling the role of inflammatory signaling in CAR T cell therapy resistance in aggressive B cell lymphoma
Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy has emerged as a groundbreaking treatment for relapsed/refractory B cell lymphomas, yet a significant proportion of patients fail to achieve durable responses. The tumor microenvironment (TME) and its inflammatory circuits play a pivotal role in shaping disease biology and therapeutic outcomes.
Here, we aim to dissect the immunosuppressive features of the TME, with a particular focus on the STING signaling pathway, which we have identified as a potential key mediator of pro-inflammatory responses.
Our goal is to identify novel strategies that enhance CAR T cell efficacy and overcome resistance in aggressive B cell lymphoma patients.
