Departments
The ultimate goal of the MSSO is to sustainably improve the care of cancer patients by bridging the gap between basic and clinical cancer research.
Our modular training program, comprising MD Research Stipends, a Postgraduate Program and the MSSO Junior Research Groups, offers excellent career perspectives for medical and non-medical junior oncologists at every level of their scientific education.
To achieve this goal the participating clinics and departments have granted protected research time during laboratory rotations and the postgraduates residency to allow for a high degree of academic freedom and promote translation from bench to bedside.
